Where The Adventure Begins!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the Pardeeville Elementary School Family, I am happy to welcome you to our school. We are looking forward to working with you to ensure that our students can reach their highest potential. We know that in order for our students to be successful at school, they need support from both home and school. We can work together for our student’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out responsibilities. We ask that you help guide and support your child’s learning by ensure that he or she:
- Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready to learn.
- Completes all homework assignments given by teachers.
- Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
- Shares experiences with you so you are informed of his/her school life.
- Knows that you expect him/her to success in school.
- Please consider volunteering at school and joining our school PTO. Volunteers assist us in the following areas:
- Reading with children who need additional support.
- Assisting with math groups and individuals for math support.
- Classroom support for individual teachers.
- Sit with students at lunch hour and assist in the cafeteria.
- Shelf books in the library.
If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the volunteer form and bring it back to the elementary office.
PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) plans and assists with many school-wide events. They meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Cafeteria.
In our family handbook you can read our school rules, expectations, and procedures. Please review these carefully with your child. It is very important for both you and your child to be well informed about standards and procedures for a safe and productive school year. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or myself.
The staff at Pardeeville Elementary, and I feel privileged to be a part of this school family. We thank you for your support and I look forward to meeting you and/or seeing you again.
Sincerely,
