Many area organizations have established scholarship programs for local graduates. Listed below are the known local area scholarships. (Must allow at least one to two weeks of preparation for school/community letters of recommendation.)
It is only necessary to complete the community application once. Make sure you check all that apply on page 1.
The Community Scholarship Application covers the following scholarships (check off the ones you want to apply for):
Scholarship opportunities are sent to the guidance office. Further information and applications may be obtained from Ms. Huset, school counselor, or Mrs. Hillman, guidance administrative assistant. Students are also encouraged to seek out scholarship opportunities from other sources. Most public and private colleges offer scholarships to students planning to attend their institution. Some of the schools send information on awards and criteria to our guidance office. Information may also be obtained directly from the individual college.
