About Me
I grew up in Hustisford, Wisconsin- about an hour from Pardeeville. I attended UW-Whitewater from 2015-2019, where I pursued education. Teaching has been my lifelong career goal- except maybe to be a butterfly when I was 4.
In my free time, I enjoy the typical English teacher stuff, like reading and writing. I also play the clarinet and paint. I have always been more of the "artsy" type, involving myself in the creative side of life.
I love to travel; I have been all over the continental United States, and I hope to check off all 50 someday. Internationally, I've been fortunate enough to see the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and Jamaica. I actually finished my student teaching in Jamaica! I made lifelong friends and teaching connections through that trip, and it's something for which I will always be grateful.
My career aspirations include obtaining an alternative education licensure and a social studies licensure. I don't think I'll ever grow past teaching, but I've also considered becoming a principal. We'll see where the future takes me!
