Education:  

I graduated from UW-Platteville in 2005 with a major in Middle Level Education and a minor in Music.  I have been a member of CPM's Teacher Research Corps for the last 9 years working with other educators across the country on mathematics educational research.

Experience:

I have had the pleasure of teaching in "the middle" for the last 18 years.  I spent the first 10 years of my career teaching MS math, Math Intervention and 8th grade American History at New Holstein Middle School.  Since moving to the area, I have taught Math 8 and Algebra 8 at Wayne Bartels Middle School in Portage and Math 6 & 7, 6th Grade Writing and HS Algebra at Cambria-Friesland Middle School.  In 2020, I joined the Bulldog Team and am excited to be teaching Math 7, Algebra 8 and Science 8 in the place I call home.  I coach Math 24 Club, 8th grade Girls Basketball, MS Cross Country,  MS Track & Field, co-advise Middle School Student Council  and the Bulldog Stomp.
