The Choral department at Pardeeville High School currently offers one high school choir, which is a year-long commitment. This performance-based class includes school concerts as well as other community performances. There are additional opportunities for individual performance as well, including Solo and Ensemble, and singing the National Anthem at sporting events. In addition to the performance aspect, students are required to learn the basics of music theory, as well as sightreading techniques, to better enhance their knowledge of music. Students are continually introduced to music from around the globe and historical selections, while learning more about the music from our own country. Plans are underway so that in future years there may be more courses offered to enhance students’ musical learning and experiences even more.
