I am a UW-La Crosse graduate and am now teaching in my third alternative education program. This is my 7th year at Pardeeville teaching the Students Taking Alternative Routes to Success(S.T.A.R.S.) programs at Pardeeville High School. S.T.A.R.S. programs are designed to help students who have struggled in regular education for any reason to recover credits and graduate. S.T.A.R.S. is not an easy way out, but rather an alternative pathway to graduation. Some students use the NovaNet software based on the National Curriculum Standards to earn credits at their own pace. Students who are in the GEDO2 program graduate by proving competency. They must pass the GED tests, as well as passing required courses, having employment and performing community service. Please stop by room #70 or e-mail me at the above link. if you have any questions or would like more information on our program.
